Samira Rathod Design Atelier, a beacon of reinventing tradition in the world of architecture, is a firm that celebrates the art of design with unwavering dedication to a set of philosophies that breathe life and poetry into every project. With a legacy spanning 23 years now, SRDA has evolved from its humble beginnings with a small farmhouse and an avant-garde furniture portfolio in 2000, to become a renowned architectural practice with a diverse range of large-scale architecture and interior projects across the country and overseas, garnering accolades and recognition through national awards and international publications.

At the heart of our design philosophy lies a deep-rooted belief in the values of empathy and purpose. We create spaces that are not just functional but also beautiful, evoking a sense of wonderment and memory for its users. Whether it's a residential project that reflects a client's personal journey or a commercial building that portrays the story of an institute's values, bespoke details add depth and meaning to our designs. Every structure we design has a purpose, and more importantly, is cognisant of the difference between needs and wants, which it addresses in the most responsible way, carefully monitoring its abuse on the planet and echoing our commitment to responsible solutions. We build with small footprints, recycle material banks, and cherish indigenous processes.

Our designs take inspiration from local cultures—their techniques, their materials, their stories, and their history—ensuring harmony in coexistence with the environment. Learning is also a fundamental aspect of our practice, and we consider every project an opportunity to understand the world better, examining the intricate relationship between people and their surroundings. We craft spaces that stand as testaments to our values and commitment to the realm of architecture. SRDA's architecture is a beautiful, lasting, indigenous, recycled, and small (BLIRS) tribute to the world…
